Have a perspective on the future of brain-computer interfaces? Inside BCI publishes guest op-eds from researchers, founders, clinicians, ethicists, and anyone with a sharp take on where neurotechnology is headed. We publish the best submissions weekly.

Submission Guidelines

Length

900–1,200 words. Focused, concise, and well-argued pieces perform best.

Images

Include 2–3 relevant images, figures, or diagrams. High resolution preferred (minimum 1200px wide). You must have rights to use any images submitted.

Author Bio

Include a short bio (2–3 sentences) and a professional headshot. Tell us who you are and why your perspective matters.

Format

Word document (.docx) or Google Doc link. Please do not submit PDFs.

What We're Looking For

  • Original perspectives on BCI technology, policy, ethics, or industry trends
  • First-person accounts from researchers, clinicians, or patients
  • Analysis of emerging neurotechnology and its implications
  • Commentary on regulatory developments and neuro-rights
  • Predictions and provocative takes backed by evidence
