Neuvotion sets fall US commercial launch for its FDA-cleared NeuStim stimulator

On Monday 27 July 2026, Stamford-based Neuvotion announced the fall 2026 US commercial launch of NeuStim NN-01, a Class II wearable neuromuscular stimulator for hand-function recovery in patients with hemiplegia from stroke or C5 spinal cord injury. The device received FDA 510(k) clearance on 22 November 2024 with the Bioness NESS H200 as predicate. In the same release, Neuvotion tied the launch to the 16 July 2026 Nature Medicine paper on the Feinstein Institutes' double neural bypass system, whose senior author Chad Bouton is Neuvotion's founder and chief executive. Neuvotion holds an exclusive worldwide license from Feinstein for the underlying neurostimulation intellectual property. The double neural bypass system itself, tested to date in a single participant (Keith Thomas), remains investigational.
