A Mark Hersam-led team at Northwestern has demonstrated aerosol-jet-printed neuromorphic devices that generate biologically realistic voltage spikes and trigger responses in mouse cerebellum slices, a first for printed electronics and a potential route to lower-cost, flexible neural interfaces.
